"So what makes The Little School House right for my child?"
First, our school is a welcoming place. We know how important this is, for young children especially. Here, they quickly feel at home, quickly 'join in'.
An initially reluctant child? Not for long! He or she will be promptly spotted and encouraged: we are fortunate in our low student-to-qualified-teacher ratio.
Where a child has specific individual needs, these will be professionally met via our exceptional access to therapists through Alberta Learning Program Unit Funding.
For all our children, we value learning through play in diverse, active learning environments, encouraging them to explore,
solve problems, make decisions and form opinions.
As the Bragg Creek Community Kindergarten we have dedicated ourselves to our educational principles for over 35 years. We know that they work. And we are grateful to have been rewarded for our success by the name the community has affectionately
bestowed upon us, The Little School House.
"What does a private, fully-funded Kindergarten offer my family?"
A WELL ROUNDED PROGRAM with emphasis on early literacy, numeracy and citizenship including experiences in music and gym. Also, hands on scientific study and experiments including hatching butterflies, growing crystals and more!
PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT, volunteering in the classroom along with optional opportunities such as being on the board, supervising field trips and class parties.
PLAY CENTERS that encourage learning through purposeful play, develop social skills, nurture your child's confidence and cultivate a love of learning.
